On November 14, No. 3 and No. 4 main transformers of 1000 kV Jinan substation were put into operation after 72 hours of trial operation. The third phase of the station expansion project was completed, and all four groups of main transformers of the whole station were put into operation.
The third phase of the 1000 kV Jinan substation expansion project is an important part of the Shandong Hebei UHV ring network project. In this phase, 2 sets of 3 million KVA main transformers, 2 sets of 1000 kV GIS switches and 5 sets of 500 kV switches are installed. The expansion of the third phase project can further improve the stability of Shandong power grid and the ability to bear external power, meet the demand of power load growth in Shandong Province, and lay a foundation for the overall operation of Shandong Hebei ring network project.
It is understood that two groups of 3 million KVA main transformers and eight circuit breakers will be built in the first phase of 1000 kV Jinan substation, two circuits of 1000 kV outgoing line and four circuits of 500 kV outgoing line will be built, which will be put into operation in June 2016; four circuits of 1000 kV outgoing line and six circuit breakers will be expanded in the second phase of the expansion project, which will be put into operation in August 2017.
The third phase of the expansion project is characterized by high risk of near power supply, frequent power outages and heavy commissioning tasks. State Grid Shandong electric power company plans four dimensions of safety, quality, power and cost as a whole, and relevant professional parts, territorial units and participating units cooperate efficiently. In the process of expansion, the project site strictly implemented 12 supporting measures of infrastructure reform, and standardized the implementation of "six in place and one standard"; the three-dimensional digital platform was used to improve the planning accuracy, strengthen the whole process of equipment processing; the key node management and control was strengthened, and the key node schemes such as power outage, construction, material supply were revised, to ensure the project was completed on schedule.
