"Hydrogen energy cannot be called ultimate power." On the afternoon of November 28, Li Junfeng, executive director of China Power Research Association, who participated in the third preparatory meeting for the first World Summit of hydrogen energy and fuel cell leaders in Shenzhen, said that we should improve the hydrogen industry chain as soon as possible and rely on technological innovation to achieve low-carbon development.
Hydrogen energy refers to the energy released by hydrogen in the process of physical and chemical changes. Fuel cell is an important achievement of hydrogen energy. Now, the United States, Japan, Germany, South Korea and other countries are at the forefront of hydrogen energy basic research and use research.
With the promotion and use of hydrogen energy and fuel cell in new power transportation, distributed energy supply, industrial and living use, especially the gradual decline of the state subsidy policy for lithium battery vehicles, hydrogen fuel cell has become the focus of attention in the capital circle, and the voice of "hydrogen energy is the ultimate power" is also emerging.
In fact, there are limits and difficulties in obtaining hydrogen energy, and its safety is relative. Li Junfeng pointed out that the saying that "hydrogen power is the ultimate power of human beings" is not scientific. Researchers should restore the essence of hydrogen energy and do not follow the trend of speculation. He believes that in the future, people's awareness of energy conservation and emission reduction will be further strengthened, and there will be more green power and more efficient energy conversion methods, so it is not easy to say "ultimate".
It is understood that Shenzhen actively promotes the development of hydrogen energy and fuel cell, from which there are many representative enterprises such as xiongtao hydrogen, Shenzhen guohydrogen New Power Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Nanke Power Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen kaihaoda hydrogen power Co., Ltd. In September last year, Harbin University of Technology (Shenzhen) established hydrogen energy and fuel cell research institute, which specializes in hydrogen energy conversion and storage, new materials and battery development, fuel cell stack lightweight development and other cutting-edge directions.
