Changyuan power recently announced that the company signed the agreement on thermal power project development in Suizhou (hereinafter referred to as the agreement) with Suizhou Municipal People's Government of Hubei Province on December 30, 2019. According to the relevant provisions of the agreement, the company plans to carry out the development and construction of 2 × 660000kw coal-fired power generation project (hereinafter referred to as "Suizhou project") in Suizhou City, Hubei Province.
Main contents of the agreement
1. the Suizhou municipal government grants the company the right to develop the Suizhou project. The company undertakes the subsequent investment, construction, operation and management of the intention, and undertakes the corresponding investment responsibilities and risks.
2. The company paid 7.9714.43 million yuan to Suizhou municipal government for acquisition of the original owner's preliminary operation results of Suizhou project.
3. The company promises to give priority to Suizhou project in the development of similar projects, and both sides agree to start construction before December 31, 2020.
Apart from the above, there are no other important terms in the agreement.
Operation progress
Prior to the signing of the above agreement, the company has launched the preliminary operation of Suizhou project to sort out and optimize the site selection, construction land, water source, coal source, transportation, access system, ash yard and other plant building conditions, and promote the research and compilation of special railway lines, Water Resource Certification, land pre-examination, and the revision or acquisition of various special reports. In the next step, the company will establish a project preparation office to ensure the orderly and efficient advance of preliminary work and meet the conditions for project approval to Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission as soon as possible.
