On January 7, 2020, China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group (hereinafter referred to as "CGNPC") held a media conference and high-quality development achievement briefing in Beijing and Shenzhen. Ye Zhiqiang, spokesman of Yangjiang Nuclear Power Company, introduced the technical route and operation of Yangjiang nuclear power.
On July 24, 2019, with No. 6 unit officially qualified for commercial operation, all 6 units of Yangjiang nuclear power plant were put into operation, and Yangjiang base became the largest nuclear power base of light water pressure reactor in operation in the world. It is reported that the CPR1000 technology route adopted by Yangjiang Nuclear Power Units 1 and 2 is the second generation nuclear power technology of China's own brand; the CPR1000 + route adopted by units 3 and 4 has comprehensive performance close to the third generation technology; the acpr1000 technology route adopted by units 5 and 6 has the main technical characteristics of the third generation nuclear power.
Ye Zhiqiang said that from CPR1000 to acpr1000, Yangjiang Nuclear Power realized the overall localization of key materials and core technologies, including the independent design and manufacture of important equipment such as reactor pressure vessel, steam generator, pressurizer and steam turbine generator. The equipment localization rate of unit 1 is 75%, and that of unit 5 and unit 6 reaches 85%.
Behind the data upgrading, Yangjiang nuclear power project has achieved many domestic breakthroughs and applications for the first time, such as the localization of low-pressure rotor of steam turbine, the complete localization of digital I & C system DCS of 5 / 6 unit, etc. Yangjiang nuclear power unit 5 is the first to adopt the "nerve center" harmony system of nuclear power plant independently developed by CGN, which has realized the engineering application of the first nuclear level digital I & C system with completely independent intellectual property rights in China, and has become a major milestone in the independence of nuclear power in China.
