French environment minister: no decision on new nuclear powe

On January 8, 2020, French environment minister Elisabeth borne said that France will not decide whether to build new nuclear power units until the end of 2022, which means that the resolution will not be made during the term of current president Marcon.

Boehner said much remained to be done before EDF's "excellence" plan, which aims to restructure the French nuclear industry to improve the efficiency of new unit construction.
