According to professional calculation, in 2019, the newly installed capacity of wind power in China will be 25.74 million kilowatts, of which 23.76 million kilowatts will be added for land advantage power and 1.98 million kilowatts for sea advantage power. By the end of 2019, the total installed capacity of wind power in China will be 210 million kilowatts, of which 204 million kilowatts will be added for land advantage power and 5.93 million kilowatts for sea advantage power, accounting for 10.4% of the total installed capacity. In 2019, the wind power generation capacity will be 405.7 billion kwh, breaking through 400 billion kwh for the first time, accounting for 5.5% of the total.
In 2019, the average utilization hours of wind power in China are 2082 hours, and the regions with higher average utilization hours are Yunnan (2808 hours), Fujian (2639 hours), Sichuan (2553 hours), Guangxi (2385 hours) and Heilongjiang (2323 hours). In 2019, the abandoned wind power was 16.9 billion kwh, a year-on-year decrease of 10.8 billion kwh, with an average wind abandonment rate of 4%, a year-on-year decrease of 3 percentage points, and the situation of wind curtailment was further alleviated.
In 2019, the areas where the wind abandonment rate exceeds 5% are Xinjiang (14.0% wind abandonment rate, 6.61 billion kwh wind energy), Gansu (7.6% wind energy abandonment rate, 1.88 billion kwh wind energy abandonment rate), Inner Mongolia (7.1% wind energy abandonment rate, 5.12 billion kwh wind energy abandonment rate). The wind power consumption of the three provinces (regions) is 13.6 billion kwh, accounting for 81% of the total wind power consumption in China.
Calculation data of wind power grid connected operation in 2019
Remarks:
1. Capacity unit: 10000 kW; electricity unit: 100 million kwh;
2. The grid connection capacity, power generation and utilization hours are from CEC;
3. The wind energy and wind rejection rate are from the national renewable energy center and relevant grid enterprises. The blank data indicates that there is no wind abandonment.
