The testing device consists of two parts:

2. The working principle of the insulated shoe (glove) operation box is actually quite easy to understand. We connect a 0-220V power supply and, based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, generate a 0-30KV power frequency high voltage in the transformer to each electrode, so that the insulated shoe (glove) can obtain the specified test voltage. According to the test procedures for insulated boots (gloves), read and record the test parameters, and then determine their voltage resistance and insulation performance.
Let me give you a brief and detailed introduction on how to use the insulation boot and glove withstand voltage test equipment correctly.
1. Before use, fill the water resistor with water (the water resistor is empty when leaving the factory, do not fill it too full, just submerge the electrode). Install the water resistor filled with water on the mobile bracket, and then insert both ends of the electrode rod support into the insulation support rod and the water resistor.
2. Fill the water tank with water (two-thirds of the entire water tank), and fill the test object with water. The insulation boots (gloves) should have the same height of water inside and outside, and there should be a 90mm exposed part of the water surface. Ensure that the exposed part of the insulation boots (gloves) is dry and clean, and then place the high-voltage electrode inside the insulation boots (gloves) and clamp the insulation boots (gloves) in place.
3. The grounding terminal on the insulated shoe (glove) test vehicle is connected to the grounding grid, and the grounding terminal on the operation box panel of the insulated shoe (glove) is also connected to the grounding grid at the same contact position as the grounding terminal on the test vehicle.
4. Check if the total power supply is consistent with the input power supply (~220V 50Hz), and connect the operation box to the test bench using two cables provided with the operation box.
5. During the test, if the leakage current exceeds the specified value or the test item is broken down, the operation box protection action will automatically cut off the power supply and return to zero. The indicator value corresponding to the insulation shoe (glove) with excessive leakage current or broken down will flash and there will be an alarm sound. Remove the insulation shoe (glove) with excessive leakage current or broken down, and then repeat the above operation method. During the test, if the test voltage is either high or low due to mains fluctuations, you can press the "Confirm" button to increase the voltage or the "Select" button to decrease the voltage.
6. After the entire test process is completed, the operation box will automatically return to zero, and press the "Confirm" button to print the test data.
7. When disassembling insulated boots (gloves), the power should be cut off and the above method should be repeated for the next batch of tests.
