Precautions for using dielectric loss tester:

1. The dielectric loss tester can only be used on power outage equipment; The grounding terminal should be reliably connected to the grounding grid. The anti-interference dielectric loss tester should be used in a spacious, safe and reliable place as much as possible.

2. The tested equipment should be switched from running state to maintenance state by disconnecting the high-voltage lead and cleaning it. After the preliminary insulation test is good, the instrument can be used for testing to prevent poor insulation of the tested equipment and damage to the anti-interference dielectric loss tester during the pressurization process.

3. When conducting experiments on large capacitance samples, the grounding of the anti-interference dielectric loss tester and the grounding of the test object should not be at the same grounding point to prevent the impact of back voltage or flow waves on the safety of the instrument during grounding discharge.

4. The dielectric loss tester comes with a boost device, and attention should be paid to the insulation distance of high-voltage leads and personnel safety;

5. The dielectric loss tester should be reliably grounded, as poor grounding may cause machine protection or pose a danger.

6. After the dielectric loss tester is started, except for special circumstances, it is not allowed to suddenly turn off the power supply to avoid overvoltage damage to the equipment

7. Although the special High-voltage cable (HVx) equipped with the instrument has passed the inspection before leaving the factory, it still needs to be far away from the human body and low-voltage test line (Cx) when measuring; Both the high-voltage core wire and the high-voltage shielding wire are not allowed to be grounded and the low potential part of the test circuit is not allowed. The core wire and shielding wire of the CX input line are not allowed to come into contact with the high-voltage part of the test circuit.

8. After issuing the measurement command, the measurement results do not appear on the screen for a long time (1 minute), which may be caused by the sample capacitance being too large or crashing. After restarting, reduce the measurement voltage and retest.

9. The short circuit of the test object will prevent measurement, and the anti-interference dielectric loss tester will automatically protect it. When the paper outlet above the machine head extends for a certain length, press the button once to stop feeding the paper. Printing paper is allowed to be pulled out.
