At this point, you can click "Sampling", and the instrument will automatically test and collect data and display waveform data. When clicking "Sample" again, the instrument can continuously sample. The operator adjusts the "position" and "amplitude" based on the data waveform displayed by the instrument until the collected data can be analyzed, and then the sampling can be stopped.
5. Select the testing method that meets the testing requirements based on the actual situation of cable fault testing. If it is a "high-voltage flashover method" testing cable fault, after clicking "sampling", the instrument enters a waiting sampling state until the instrument performs high-voltage flashover on the faulty cable. The cable fault testing system automatically displays the collected signal and enters the waiting sampling state again, preparing the signal for the next high-voltage flashover. The operator can adjust the "displacement" and "amplitude" during the sampling process until the waveform is convenient for test and analysis. Then the sampling can be stopped, and the cursor operation can be performed to know the cable length from the fault point to the test end, so as to find the cable fault point.
