1.Direct law principle
During calibration, the current is required to rise up to 120% of the rated primary current. The standard CT is compared with the tested transformer and the error is measured by the transformer calibrator.
2.Principle of difference measurement
That is, the standard and the secondary current of the CT are sent to the differential circuit of the CT calibrator (ie, the difference circuit), and then the difference obtained by the differential circuit is input to the measurement link for measurement, and finally with the standard transformer. The secondary current comparison yields the difference and angular difference between the CT being tested and the standard CT.
