The expansion of electric vehicle charging station on Checheng North Road of State Grid near Wuhan Sports Center, the main hall of the Wuhan military games, was completed and put into operation, it was learned Thursday. There are 32 chargers in the station, which can provide charging service for 384 electric vehicles every day.
According to the person in charge of electric vehicle service branch of State Grid Wuhan power supply company, the charging station of Checheng North Road of state grid was built in November 2010 and put into operation in April 2011. In 2019, Checheng North Road charging station of State Grid, as a supporting facility of Wuhan Sports Center, the main venue of Wuhan military games, was upgraded and expanded again by State Grid Wuhan power supply company in June this year.
It is understood that the charging station will also add value-added services such as intelligent parking, intelligent sharing self-service car washing, 5g preferential network, etc., to provide better charging experience for the electric vehicle owners who come to charge.
On the same day, the first state grid "optical storage charging" electric vehicle charging station located in Chuangye Road, Zhuankou Development Zone, Wuhan city was put into operation. It is reported that the "light storage and charging" integrated charging station will convert solar energy into electric energy and "raise piles with light" to complete a high-tech green charging mode in which new energy, energy storage and intelligent charging support each other harmoniously.
The State Grid Chuangye road "optical storage charging" charging station can provide charging services for 8 electric vehicles at the same time. The distributed photovoltaic installed capacity of the "optical storage and charging" charging station is 80 kilowatts in total. It is estimated that the average annual power generation capacity can reach 88000 kwh, the average annual carbon dioxide emission reduction is 87736 kg, and the average annual coal saving is 2886 kg.
