On November 14, Anhui Hefei power supply company launched the construction of Shixin road data center station. The station is the first multi station integration project of State Grid Anhui Electric Power Co., Ltd., integrating the functions of photovoltaic power station, electric vehicle charging station, energy storage station, data center and 5g base station.
Shixin road data station is located in Binhu New Area, which was originally planned as electric vehicle charging station. Without changing the original layout, Hefei power supply company chose to build a multi station integration station in this pilot project. According to the plan, the project will use the space areas such as the roof of the station to install solar photovoltaic panels to build 88 kW photovoltaic power station; install 16 DC fast charging piles and 8 AC charging piles to meet the application needs of buses and electric repair vehicles in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone; comprehensively use the resources of electric vehicle charging station and newly allocated batteries to build a storage capacity of 5140 kW Energy station: build data center station with the rest of the site in the station, cooperate with communication operators to build 5g base station, and provide resource operation services for the society and related occupations.
It is estimated that the project will be completed by the end of this year and will be ready for external operation. At that time, the photovoltaic power station of the station can supply power for electric vehicle charging station, data center station and communication base station, and the surplus electric energy will enter the energy storage station in the station, forming the micro network system of "integration of optical storage and charging". The system will be included in the scale of virtual power plant dispatching, participate in the uniform dispatching of Hefei Power Grid, and complete the comprehensive utilization of power in a larger scale.
In May of this year, Binhu New Area in Hefei became one of the two demonstration areas for the construction of ubiquitous power Internet of things in Anhui Province. Hefei power supply company strengthened cooperation with the Management Committee of Binhu Science City to speed up the construction of Binhu intelligent power comprehensive service demonstration area in intelligent transportation inspection, operation dispatching and other aspects.
