On November 18, 2019, the Polish US nuclear industry forum was held in Warsaw, during which Piotr naimski, Secretary of state of the prime minister's office and representative of the government of strategic energy infrastructure, indicated that Poland would complete the intention financing talks on the country's first nuclear power plant construction project in the coming months.
The Polish government plans to set up a special purpose company and hold 51% of the shares in it. The remaining 49% will be held by foreign partners. PGE, the Polish state-owned power group, will also be one of the shareholders of the special purpose company
