In the first 11 months of this year, China sold 1.01 million electric vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 6%, and the United States sold 296000 electric vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 5%. Compared with the decline in the sales of electric vehicles in China and the United States, the sales of electric vehicles in the major car markets in Europe showed explosive growth: the sales of electric vehicles in the Netherlands doubled (113%), Germany increased by 49%, and France increased by 36%.
The research shows that in 2019, the international electric vehicle industry shows a trend of polarization, and the relevant government policies seriously affect the development of the electric vehicle industry.
In Europe, a favorable subsidy policy for new energy cars has boosted sales. In China, since the government adjusted the subsidy policy for electric vehicles, the sales volume of electric vehicles has declined significantly. This proves that the electric vehicle industry is now mainly supported by the government's policy, and once the subsidy policy is weaned, it will be reflected in the figures.
According to the forecast, the sales volume of electric vehicles in China will be 1255000 in 2019, and the expected share of electric vehicles is 4.5%.
