On March 3, the 2 × 660000kw ultra supercritical coal-fired unit project of baiyinhuakengkou power plant affiliated to the state power investment Inner Mongolia company was officially approved, marking that the project is about to enter the stage of comprehensive construction after 17 years of unremitting efforts. This is not only the first approved project in the follow-up supporting coal power project of Ximeng coal power base, but also the first large-scale thermal power project approved by Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2020.
Baiyinhua Kengkou power plant project, as the auxiliary power supply project for the ultra-high voltage DC transmission channel from Ximeng to Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, has an estimated total investment of 5.28 billion yuan. The plant site is located in Baiyinhua Power Chemical Park, Bayanhua Town, Muqin banner, Xilingol League, with an area of about 35.9 hectares. According to the feasibility study of the project, the water consumption, power supply coal consumption and auxiliary power consumption rate are all superior to the national and industrial standards. It is estimated that the annual consumption of lignite produced by the open-pit mines of Baiyinhua No.2 and No.3 is 5.344 million tons, which will play an active role in greatly releasing the coal production capacity of Baiyinhua area, fully improving the added value of resources and completing the comprehensive utilization of resources. At the same time, the dust removal power, desulfurization power and denitration power of the project are 99.9%, 99.4% and no less than 85%. The emission concentration of smoke, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide separately reaches the emission standard of gas turbine generator set, and the super net emission is completed, and the indicators will be further optimized. After the completion of the project, the construction of Baiyinhua industrial cluster will be further optimized, which will play an active role in ensuring the power demand of Jiangsu Province and improving the atmospheric environment quality of East China, and create a new engine and inject new power for the completion of high-quality development of national power investment.
It is understood that Baiyinhua pithead power plant project started in 2003, and the preliminary work was officially carried out. In the face of the severe situation that the state has been tightening the approval policy of thermal power projects and the "red early warning" of thermal power projects in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, for many years, the State Power Investment Corporation of Inner Mongolia and Baiyinhua pithead power plant have been following the national planning, persevering, participating in project optimization and upgrading technical routes for many times. On July 10, 2019, the State Power Bureau of Inner Mongolia Ximeng coal power base The reply letter on the construction planning of the subsequent auxiliary power supply (No. 201971, GNH power), the project is officially included in the national planning.
