1. Testers should divide their responsibilities, set a safe distance at the test site, carefully inspect the grounding of the tested object and the test transformer, and assign dedicated personnel to monitor safety and observe the status of the tested object.

3. If insulation is burnt or smokes, the voltage should be immediately reduced, the power should be cut off, the test should be stopped, and the cause should be identified.

7. When conducting capacitance experiments or DC high-voltage leakage experiments, after the experiment is completed, lower the voltage regulator to the zero position and cut off the power supply. Then, use a discharge rod to discharge the high-voltage end of the test object or capacitor to the ground to avoid the risk of electric shock caused by the potential stored in the capacitor.
